科廷大学 Curtin University

科廷大学始于1966年，前身为西澳科技学院（WAIT）。在2020年软科世界大学排名（ARWU）中，科廷大学被誉为全球前1%的顶尖高校。科廷大学的时尚研究专业设立于2001年，是设计与建筑环境学院的设计学本科中核心专业之一。

Curtin University was established as WAIT in 1966 and is ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide in the highly regarded Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) 2020. Fashion studies was introduced to Curtin in 2001 and is a Major field of study within the Bachelor of Design delivered through the School of Design & the Built Environment.

The undergraduate course in fashion design encourages an innovative approach to design, technical competencies and industry expertise. The skills, knowledge and contacts gained prepare graduates for a range of career opportunities within the fashion industry. Students integrate theoretical knowledge and cultural understanding into practice led investigations of contemporary relationship between garment and body. The fashion course at Curtin is distinguished by a forward thinking focus on graduate understanding of global issues such as sustainability and the significance of digital technology in the future of fashion. Students develop a design portfolio that includes the production of a capsule collection ready for presentation to industry.  

科廷大学时尚设计专业的毕业生享誉业界，在国际时尚艺术竞赛中多次入选决赛并获得重要奖项。在最近的中国国际青年设计师时装作品大赛汉帛奖(Hempel Award)中，科廷大学的毕业生获得了第三名的优秀成绩。在知名跨国时尚企业中，也不乏他们的身影，如Thom Browne, Salvatore Ferragamo, Boy London, FILA Fusion, SEMIR Group, Comme de Garcon 和 Karl Lagerfeld 等。

Graduates have been acknowledged internationally through selection as finalists in the Arts of Fashion Awards and most recently as a Bronze Medalist in the Hempel Award. Graduates have achieved employment with companies including Thom Browne, Salvatore Ferragamo, Boy London, FILA Fusion, SEMIR Group, Comme de Garcon and Karl Lagerfeld.

围绕 "智能变革 "这一主题，我们的报告将关注于文化、艺术、时尚和技术之间的融合。作品展示了智能思维、材料和技术的创新应用，旨在关注面相未来的设计。视频片段将审视设计师的设计实践，并对时尚趋势提供全新的灵感。

Working with the theme of Smart Change, the presentation will feature the intersection between culture, art, fashion and technology. Work showcases smart thinking, innovative application of materials and technology to address design for the future. The video will interrogate the designer practice and provide insight into new approaches to making fashion objects.

这10位毕业生设计师在完成他们的时尚系列时，结合了多种传统与现代的织物技术与应用，如手工刺绣、自然染色和激光切割等工艺，创造了与众不同的作品。这些年轻的设计师使用了回收利用的环保材料来创造零浪费设计系列，探究时尚设计的可持续的未来。

The 10 graduate designers have used a variety of traditional and contemporary textile applications and techniques in the fabrication of their collections undertaking processes such as hand embroidery, natural dyeing and laser cutting to create unique and distinctive bodies of work. Several of the young designers have used up-cycled and recycled materials to create zero waste collections whilst pursuing a more sustainable future in fashion.

作品名称：婚礼王国 Wedding Country

Celine的作品灵感，来源于澳大利亚丰富多变的自然景观：天然海滩、内陆灌木丛、粉红盐湖以及广袤的农耕土地等。每一套造型的纹理和剪影，都呼应了婚礼举行地所处的不同景观。这一系列通过运用创意设计和材料技术，探究服饰、地方景色与回忆之间的美妙联系。

Celine’s collection is inspired by Australia’s vast and varied landscapes; pristine beaches, natural bush outback, pink salt lakes and rustic farming land. Through texture and silhouette each outfit echoes the landscape where a wedding may take place. The collection uses creative design and material techniques to explore the connection between garment, place and memory.

这件被当地植物的颜色和灌木丛中的树叶启发的服饰，选用了激光切割的真丝欧根纱。激光切割的边缘，是手工刺绣完成的藤蔓叶子图案。铺在织物上的叶子和花朵，使用了生态印刷技术，使其完美的结合在了一起。叶子在不同的形状中释放出它们的天然染料，留下了美丽的自然印记。

The colour of native flora and the bush floor of leaves inspired garments made from laser cut silk organza. The raw laser cut edges have been hand embroidered with a vine leaf pattern to finish. Eco-printing technique was used where leaves and flowers are laid on to fabric, tightly bound and steamed. The leaves release their natural dyes in the various shapes leaving behind a beautiful natural imprint.

作品名称：原始 Primitive

Ciara’s collection centres around the agricultural life of Australia works within the intersection of culture art and fashion and is executed through the use of old and new technologies. Her graduate collection concept is derived from patterns in nature created by manmade influences, taken from the aerial views of rural farmland, specifically the shapes of paddocks and harvested parallel lines.

针织羊毛和打褶的有机丝绸均经过精确测量，确保材料的零浪费。所剩的材料都化作了她的一件作品上的蛇形管道。这种接近零浪费的时尚系列，是一种有意识地向可持续时尚探索，得以创造出精心打造并可永久流传的作品。

Knitted wool and pleated organic silk were used to exact measurement resulting in no cutaways or wasted materials. Any left over material were used in the snake like piping featured on one of her key garments. This close to zero-waste collection, is a conscious move toward sustainable practices, by creating well-constructed long-lasting pieces.
